BAS also provides rate calculation programs for benefits that are 100% employer-paid. These can be calculated based on specific employee earnings and written to payroll before finalization so employer-paid expenses generate the proper GL and costing entries and are available for benefit reporting.

 

With a BASpay Rate Determination or Incentive Calculation Program, you can:

 

  • Efficiently and consistently evaluate and adjust batches of labor, other charges, or deductions queued for Trial in the payroll program each pay cycle
  • Manage eligibility, floors, and limits for employees and calculate and add charges for incentive pay, including productivity parameters from external systems
  • Evaluate and adjust overtime and other hours-based premiums by applying average hourly wages determined from the batches being processed
  • Set up and use shift and other time-of-day, day-of-week, or date-specific rules and logic to adjust or enhance labor batches to your specification.
  • Evaluate and adjust batches brought in from auto-timesheets or other sources where employees worked a “non-routine” period and need validation or "normalization"
