Instead of having a dedicated module, Vendor Lot Traceability and Expiration Dat control work through all Multi-Bin enabled modules to ensure complete tracking of vendor lots and expiration dates, where those items are in the warehouse, and when they were used in the manufacturing process.

Vendor Lot Traceability
From start to finish, Vendor Lot Traceability has you covered when faced with vendor initiated recalls, locating not only the raw material, but all of the finished goods that it was used to create.

The Vendor Lot Trace Report helps keep you compliant, tracking any number of vendor lots through infinite productions.

Expiration Date Control
Expiration Date Control ensures efficient distribution of goods, accurate tracking of expiring and expired inventory and appropriate use of date sensitive manufacturing components.
  • Purchase Order Receipt of goods prompts for manufacturer Lot Number and Expiration Date when receiving items.  This information is stored so the reports on expiring goods throughout the warehouse can be tracked.
  • Inventory Management provides several locations where the expiration date of expiring inventory can be viewed, including Item Maintenance, Bin Location Maintenance, and Bin Location Inquiries.  Physical Count Entry also provides reference information on existing quantities and allows entry for new lines.
  • Sales Order provides Auto-Allocation Options and can use expiration date sensitivity when allocating goods for Sales Orders.  Picking sheets display expiration date information for goods in bins and take into consideration customer required lead times for expiring goods.
  • Manufacturing modules allows the entry of expiration dates to lotted inventory during Bill of Materials Production Entries and Work Order Completions.
